First,
The website is now offering free online Pilot Operating
Handbooks(POH) in the online Library.
You will need a PDF viewer to use these manuals.
Adobe Acrobat is a
good solution that is available for free, with it you can view,
print and manage the documents (manuals) you download.
Second,
The Transportation Security
Administration (TSA) is now trying to enact additional
airport security laws on the general aviation (GA) sector. This
giant government bureaucracy is absolutely clueless as to what
general aviation is and is not. Anyone reading this update
should make every effort to voice your concern over the TSA's
desire to enact large commercial aviation airport policies on
small GA airports. If the TSA does enact these rules on the GA
sector, many small companies that operate on these airfields are
in jeopardy of going out of business due to the high cost of
meeting TSA requirements for security screening.

Aviation Quote of the day:
Words to Live by:
I confess that in 1901, I said to my brother
Orville "man would not fly for fifty years. . . ."
Ever since, I have distrusted myself and avoided all
predictions.
- Wilbur Wright
Any society that would give
up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve
neither and lose both.
